On 23 September 2021, more information was revealed about Splatoon 3 in a Nintendo Direct, including new special weapons, stages, and music, as well as the reveal of the single-player mode Return of the Mammalians.

Applying more heat further darkens the design. When the temperature reaches 190☌, the design will magically begin to burn into the wood.
Once completed, go over the area with a hot air gun. The ‘ink’ in this case is a chemical, which reacts with the wood when heated. Use the Scorch Marker to write or draw your design as you would with a normal pen.
